Proposal to name a reserve 'Ballast Point Park'
GEOGRAPHICAL NAMES ACT 1966
PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 8 of the Geographical Names Act, 1966, the Geographical Names Board hereby notifies that it proposes to assign the name:
Ballast Point Park for a reserve comprising Lot 11 DP 792332, Lot 7 DP 132691 and Lot 1 DP 115939 located at Ballast Point in the suburb of Birchgrove.
The position and extent for this feature is recorded and shown within the Geographical Names Register of New South Wales. This information can be accessed through the Board's Website at www.gnb.nsw.gov.au
Any person wishing to make comment upon this proposal may, prior to 9 November, 2009 write to the Secretary of the Board with that comment. Submissions made in accordance with Section 9 of the Geographical Names Act 1966 may be subject to a Freedom of Information application. GNB 5392.
