Kiama Council Proposed Reserve names

GEOGRAPHICAL NAMES ACT 1966

PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 8 of the Geographical Names Act, 1966, the Geographical Names Board hereby notifies that it proposes to assign the names:

Boxsell Oval, for a reserve comprising Lot 91, DP 838437. It is situated between Fern Street and Illawarra rail line about 400 metres North of Werri Creek in the suburb of Gerrigong.

Bulga Reserve, for a reserve comprising Lot 514, DP 1066359 adjacent to Cole Street in the suburb of Kiama.

Badu Reserve, for a reserve comprising Lot 2, DP 1137974, Lot 1429, DP 1061892 and Lot 499, DP 1064140 adjacent to Old Saddleback Road, Bland Street, Eugene Street and Danube Street in the suburb of Kiama.

Konda Reserve, for a reserve comprising Lot 1310, DP 1060995, adjacent to Dudgeon Street and Old Saddleback Road, in the suburb of Kiama.

Waabie Reserve, for a reserve comprising Lot 1320, DP 1060995, adjacent to Danube Street, Caliope Road and Brown Street in the suburb of Kiama.

The position and extents for these features are recorded and shown within the Geographical Names Register of New South Wales.

Any person wishing to make comment upon these proposals may, prior to 9 December 2009 write to the Secretary of the Board with that comment. Submissions made in accordance with Section 9 of the Geographical Names Act 1966 may be subject to a Freedom of Information application. GNB5411.
