Proposal to name a reserve

GEOGRAPHICAL NAMES ACT 1966

PURSUANT to the provisions of Section 8 of the Geographical Names Act, 1966, the Geographical Names Board hereby notifies that it proposes to assign the name:

Kerryn McCann Athletic Centre A reserve comprising part Lot 401 DP 1128781 and part Lot 104 DP 594259 being the athletics centre section of Beaton Park accessed off Foley Street, with the main entrance located on the southern side of Beaton Park in the suburb of Gwynneville.

The position and extent for this feature is recorded and shown within the Geographical Names Register of New South Wales. This information can be accessed through the Board's Website at www.gnb.nsw.gov.au

Any person wishing to make comment upon this proposal may, prior to 16 November 2009, write to the Secretary of the Board with that comment. Submissions made in accordance with Section 9 of the Geographical Names Act 1966 maybe subject to a Freedom of Information aopplication. GNB5398.
