Description:   Perennial stream rising on Bell Range about 5 km SE of Bell. It flows generally NNE for about 8 km into Bell Creek.
Origin:   Named after Frederick Eccleston Du Faur (14.09.1832-24.04.1915), early Chief Draftsman of the Department of Lands, who had a camp site near here. (The story of Mount Wilson - by Gilbert Hughes). Also chairman of geographical section and fellow of Royal Society of NSW and trustee for National Art Gallery ( Australian Dictionary of Biography Vol 4 ).
