Description:   Dam retaining the waters of Lake Glenbawn on the Hunter River. It is of rolled earth-fill and rock structure, 2700 feet in length with a maximum height of wall of 251 feet. Completed in 1958.
Origin:   The dam was named after a riverside property resumed for part of the storage area. (Maj.Rur.Dams.NSW., Dep. L&WC).
