| Description: | A northern arm of Broken Bay which joins the bay at The Bar opposite Wagstaff Point. It extends for about 11km in a northerly direction and its width varies considerably to a maximum of 5km. Its almost landlocked waters are generally shallow, its irregular shoreline forms many bays and inlets and several islands stud its waters. A number of towns surround its shores including Gosford, Phegans Bay Woy Woy, Booker Bay, Ettalong Beach, Wagstaff, Kincumber, Davistown, Saratoga and Green Point. |
