The Geographical Names Board launched the NSW Online Road Naming System in August 2013.
This system allows road naming authorities to submit new road name proposals online.
The notification of prescribed authorities under the Roads Regulation 2018 has also been automated for proposals submitted via this new system.
Councils are encouraged to register to use the system by contacting Road Naming NSW at ss-GNB@finance.nsw.gov.au
